Little Angels' School

The Africa project is centered around a private school, aiming to revitalize its master plan and breathe new life into aging structures. Partnering with a relief organization, the goal is to elevate the quality of education for underserved children in this impoverished region. In Rwanda, where access to quality education is limited, this collaborative effort seeks to turn an old school into a place for learning and joy. The main strategy revolves around preserving the existing structures, recognizing the potential within them, and refurbishing them to provide the best possible environment for education. Additional buildings are strategically added to fulfill other essential needs. The core principle driving the design is to enhance and preserve the local landscape. Repurposing existing buildings and adding new ones, not only upgrades the school but also contributes to the improvement of the surrounding area. The architectural plan includes inviting courtyards where children can enjoy their breaks. These open spaces are carefully integrated into the design, fostering a vibrant atmosphere that complements the learning experience. The vision is to make education not just a necessity but a source of delight for these children, creating a positive impact that extends beyond the classroom.
